“You should really measure your old gasket first, or at least confirm what the OEM size of your original gasket is. I quickly assumed the gasket in my Lelit Mara was a 8mm and ordered accordingly. It fit, but required an excessive amount of tightening to get the portafilter to seal; well past the 6-O-Clock position. I measure my OEM rubber gasket and found it to be 9mm. I reordered the 'blue' 8.5mm gasket and it's a much nicer fit. The portafilter tightens a little past the 6-O-Clock position, but much better than the 'red' 8mm gasket. The silicone is sturdy and seals very well, no leaks like my old rubber gasket was giving me, and I'm getting better shots since I'm not losing pressure to a leaky gasket. If you have an E61-style grouphead this is a good replacement gasket and a nice upgrade from a rubber one. It's inexpensive and very easy to replace. Also, get in there and do a good cleaning while you have the shower screen out. :-)”

“This gasket fixes the sealing/leaking issue with the Lelit Elizabeth. Have had two brand new Elizabeth's, both leak terribly from the portafilter seal. The blue Cafelat silicone gasket is slightly oversized for the Elizabeth, your portifilter handle will not lock perfectly at 6:00 when the gasket is new, but it allows you to get a tight seal and stops the leaking issue that these machines have out of the box. Over time the seal will wear in, allowing the handle to come to the full 6:00 position when locked.”
